What type of fuel will power the furnace?
$ - Electric
$$ - Oil
$$$ - Natural gas or liquid propane
How much power does the furnace need? A number of factors contribute to the amount of power needed. It depends on the local climate, the square footage of the home, and your home’s type of insulation.
$ - When a 50,000 – 75,000 BTU furnace is installed.
$$ - 100,000+ BTU furnace is installed.
Do I need a high-efficiency furnace?
$ - When a low or mid-efficiency furnace is installed.
$$ - When a high efficiency, condensing furnace is installed.
Does the ductwork system need to be repaired?
$ - When the ductwork does not require any repairs.
$$ - When the heating duct system needs to be repaired or modified.
What type of furnace filter do I need?
$ - Disposable fiberglass filter

$$ - Electrostatic filter
